Nursery Nurse – Full Time Permanent Position

Are you confident, enthusiastic and motivated with a large helping of fun, creativity and dedication?

We are looking for an experienced Qualified Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) nursery nurse to join our expanding team in our warm caring nursery.

We require you to have a passion for looking after children and to be dedicated to teaching children in the early years sector.

As this is a full time permanent position the number of hours will be from 40 hours a week. We are also a nursery that is open for 48 weeks of the year, not just term time.

Ideally, having previous experience and a positive attitude towards working within a structured team as well as being:

  • organised
  • able to plan adult and child led activities
  • kind, caring, happy and enthusiastic
  • able to work individually during allocated planning and time out sessions

Salary will be discussed during the interview stage and will be based upon qualifications and experience.

We allocate 28 days holiday a year and that is to include bank holidays and nursery closing times in August (summer holidays) and December (Christmas).

We have a separate fully equipped staff kitchen available for use with a small oven, microwave and usual drink making facilities.

There is also a staff room that can be used for lunchtimes and it has space for planning activities during allocated time out sessions.


For those with their own transport there is a small number of off-road parking spaces and also on-road parking is available outside the nursery.

If you need to catch public transport the nearest bus stop is just under 300 metres away and services the 97, 98 ( and M5 ( bus routes.
